Tasting notes - A touch of Viognier in the blend adds floral nuances to the blackcurrant and spicy notes of the Syrah. Round and textured with good structure and smooth, silky tannins, this wine has great finesse and a long, persistent finish. A powerful yet fine wine with dark chocolate and cocoa bean aromas developing black olive and meaty, savoury notes on the palate, long, silky and sustained.

Winemaking The grapes were manually harvested at full maturity. They were then destemmed and fermented at controlled temperatures in vats with a long maceration of two to three weeks. 100% of the wine was matured in oak barrels for a period of 18 months.
